- The time is given in Western European Time. This is not always the correct time.
- A problem with loading the track in google maps seems te be solved by changing the versionnumber of google map.
- It
appears that pages sent from Internet Explorer to the printer don't
show the map corrrectly. This is a problem that tends to occur on sites
with Googlemaps on Internet Explorer. Solutioon (work around) : Using
Firefox as your browser eliminates this problem. You can get Firefox here.
- Tracks
that are drawn by hand with MapSource or an application on a
website, sometimes contain incomplete information. Usually the time is
not present in the file. Files from gpsies, if the contain more tracks,
the tracks all start at the same moment. This is physically impossible,
so mytracks can't handle that.
An error is the result. Garbage in, garbage out.
- Some files are uploaded with a track with so many
points that the graphs no longer provide meaningful information. These
charts are no longer shown. This is particularly true with climbing speed charts and slopes charts.
- In the earth-mode some features may not work. The controls
of this type of card is very different from the normal google-earth
standards.

Despite the best intentions, there are occasional, unexpected problems. Known issues are presented on this page. If something is not
working properly, or you have ideas for a new functionality, please report your issue by submitting a contact form.
Solved issues:
- 20091230 : The charts were not updates after chosing a different language of units. This is solved now.
- 20090815: problem solved. Issue: TCX files uploading does not work anymore.
- 20090424: Solved. A GPX file can contain multiple tracks,
multiple routes and multiple waypoints. The tracks are glued together,
which may have undesirable effects if the tracks geographically far
apart. If the gpx-file contains no track, then operation is not
guaranteed. That is not covered bugs, but that is a choice of website:
it finally to the tracks! Initial issue: 20090416: If the gpx-file
alongside the track there will also be a route contains a cryptic error
message. Work Around is yet to only allow tracks and waypoints in
gpx-file.
- 20090408 - Solved: Now you have checked the screen and
then automatically switched. Issue: The website shows no convenient
sizes smaller than 1280x1024 pixels. Many scroll work is due.
- 20090402: Solved. Issue: When uploading asks for the drive
type and weight. These data are apparently not stored in the database.
Through the change-page journey, such data may be adjusted. These are
then saved.
- 20090224: Solved: When changing the weight, the amount of
energy supplied recalculated. Issue: The amount of energy and average
power are based on the weight of bike + rider + luggage. Yet here is
intended for 87 kg. It is possible that weight change, but the
calculation for the amount of energy can not be exported, so the effect
is not seen (or at the power graph).
- 20090222: Solved: You can now your name, your email
address and your password. Issue: You can not change your login
information once they are established.
- 20090222: Solved: Preventing illegal characters in file
names is resolved by checking whether the incorrect characters in file
names occur before the upload starts. Issue: Some characters in the
file name and another was an error.
- 20090220: Solved: It is possible to track some
administrative details of the change (such as date and title, start,
finish place)). It is not possible to change the track itself. That you
have to do before you upload the file. Issue: You can not change
already uploaded tracks. All you can do is delete and re upload.
- 20090218: Solved: You can specify whether a file should be
overwritten. Issue: When you upload a file with same name as an
existing file, then the old file is overwritten without warning.
- 20090217: Resolved: The appearance of cols. With a
strengthened rugged terrain near the col, col ceiling was the wrong
choice. Now is that good.
- 20090216: Solved: The map changes only if the map layer
'track' is active. (issue: If the cols are turned into google maps,
zooms in the map layer passes, is that just? n col, then the list
disappears on the track. Is there any col detected in the track then
zooms in the whole world . A workaround is to export and then click on
the track itself).
- 20090216: Resolved: The view of the cols in the google
maps is in order. A point in the track is designated as a College or if
the top level of a summit with more than 50 meter is increased compared
to the previous minimum, then the top one, unless the following minimum
less than 50 meter lower, in which case existence of a local maximum,
unless the next is less than the maximum limit to investigate. In
short, it is a quite complicated story, that certainly sometimes makes
for surprises.
If you do run into bugs, or wishes or ideas? N, then I'd like to hear from you Through this form you can let me know.
